We have just limited space available for the 2025 and beyond August sheep seasons. This is a great chance for you to harvest the “white sheep” you have always wanted.
We base our hunts out of a comfortable base camp with quality mountain meals and private tents. Occasionally smaller spike camps will be used to better enable the guide to get you in on a band of rams.

Wrangell-St. Elias national preserve
In 2020 we expanded our hunting area to include yet another exclusive guide use area within the Wrangell-St. Elias National Preserve. This remote wilderness is home to some beautiful country with low hunting pressure.

Alaska Dall Sheep Guides is an authorized concessionaire within the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & Preserve (U.S. National Park Service) with a Commercial Use Authorization for the Chisana Glacier & Ptarmigan Lake areas.

Your Own pilot
After you arrive in Anchorage or Tok, you will continue your journey to a remote airstrip close to the hunting area via a scheduled charter plane. From there, you will be in our care. We operate our own Piper Super Cub airplanes to make sure you are safely brought into camp. This will also allow you to move camps if needed and relocate with ease.
Experience the hunt
You will have 8 days on a fully outfitted hunt with some of the best guides & pilots in Alaska. Our operation is small, so we can provide you with quality hunt services including food you like, camps that are comfortable, and experienced sheep guides. No lottery draw is required to obtain a sheep tag in our units, but space is limited.

Pricing

Next Available Season : $37,000 + $3,500 charter flight
Does not include gratuities, tag ($850), & license ($160).​
​
Arrival point is Tok, Alaska (TKJ) for the Wrangell Mountain Range hunt. Additional charter arrangements from Anchorage may be available.

Sheep permits and tags are available over-the-counter (no draw necessary). Purchase your hunt license, locking-tag online, and harvest ticket at www.adfg.alaska.gov
​
Grizzly bear may be taken on a trophy fee basis during an August sheep hunt. These bears are usually less than 7' and do not have a thick fur coat.
